Matthias is Senior Vice President Finance EMEA at Linde plc. 

He joined Linde in 2001 as Team Lead accounting and subsequently held different positions in Finance & Controlling. In 2003, he was appointed Global Head of M&A for Linde AG and was named Head of Finance & Control EMEA in 2010.

He assumed his role as Senior Vice President Finance EMEA after the merger with Praxair in 2019. Before joining Linde Matthias worked for a AGIV AG being at that time a German MDAX listed company and for KPMG. Matthias holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Würzburg, Germany.
